Keith Morris

Keith Morris is a prominent American singer and songwriter, renowned for his contributions to the hardcore punk genre. Born in Hermosa Beach, California, Morris embarked on his music career at a young age. He co-founded the influential band Black Flag at the age of 21, alongside guitarist Greg Ginn, and was featured on the band's debut EP, Nervous Breakdown, released in 1979. However, his tenure with Black Flag was short-lived, as he departed the band later that year.
Following his exit from Black Flag, Morris went on to form the Circle Jerks with guitarist Greg Hetson. The band released a string of seven albums between 1980 and 1995, with multiple breakups and reunions throughout their history. In addition to his work with the Circle Jerks, Morris has also been involved in other musical projects, including the formation of the supergroup Off! in 2009, featuring guitarist Dimitri Coats, bassist Steven Shane McDonald, and drummer Mario Rubalcaba. Furthermore, Morris has made guest vocal appearances on several albums by other artists, showcasing his versatility and enduring presence in the music scene.
