Ilan Rubin

Ilan Rubin is a multifaceted American musician, born in 1988, who has established himself as a skilled drummer, producer, songwriter, and composer. His career has been marked by collaborations with a diverse range of artists, including notable bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, and Angels & Airwaves, as well as renowned composer Danny Elfman. Rubin's versatility and talent have allowed him to work with various musicians across different genres.

In addition to his work with other artists, Rubin has also pursued his own musical projects. In 2008, he founded The New Regime, a solo endeavor in which he handles all instrumental duties in the studio and performs with a band during live shows, playing guitar. More recently, in 2021, he began releasing music under his own name, further showcasing his creative range. Rubin's most recent notable appointment is as the drummer for the Foo Fighters, a position he assumed in 2025, succeeding Josh Freese and solidifying his place among the music industry's top talents.
