Geddy Lee is a Canadian musician born in 1953, renowned for his versatile role in the rock band Rush. As the lead vocalist, bassist, and keyboardist, he has been an integral part of the band's sound and identity. His association with Rush began in September 1968, when he joined the group at the invitation of his childhood friend Alex Lifeson, taking over from the original bassist and frontman Jeff Jones.

Throughout his career with Rush, Geddy Lee has been a constant presence, appearing on every album released by the band alongside Alex Lifeson. This enduring partnership has been a hallmark of Rush's consistency and success. In addition to his work with the band, Lee has also explored solo projects, notably releasing the album My Favourite Headache in 2000.
