Oona King

Oona King is a British business executive and former politician, born in 1967. Her career in politics spanned several years, during which she held the position of Labour Member of Parliament for the constituency of Bethnal Green and Bow. She served in this role from 1997 to 2005, representing the interests of her constituents in the House of Commons.

In addition to her time in the House of Commons, King was also a member of the House of Lords, a position she held from 2011 to 2024. As Baroness King of Bow, she brought her experience and expertise to the upper chamber, contributing to the legislative process and debates. Following her departure from the House of Lords, King has continued to work in the business sector, leveraging her skills and knowledge to drive success in her executive roles.
