Naamah Kelman

Naamah Kelman is a prominent figure in the field of Judaism, born in 1955 in the United States. She made a significant mark in Israeli history by becoming the country's first female rabbi in 1992. This milestone was achieved when she received her rabbinic ordination from Rabbi Alfred Gottschalk, a notable event that paved the way for future generations of women in the rabbinate.
