L. Jonathan Cohen

British philosopher (1923–2006)

L. Jonathan Cohen was a British philosopher born in 1923. He spent a significant portion of his career at The Queen's College, Oxford, where he held various positions from 1957 to 1990. During this time, he served as Fellow and Praelector in Philosophy, contributing to the academic community through his work and teachings.

Cohen's academic pursuits extended beyond his role at The Queen's College. He was also a British Academy Reader in Humanities at the University of Oxford from 1982 to 1984. In addition to his work as Senior Tutor from 1985 to 1990, Cohen established himself as a prominent figure in the field of philosophy.
