Jerome Kavka

Jerome Kavka was an American psychoanalyst who made significant contributions to the field of psychology. Born in 1921, he went on to become a prominent figure in the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis, where he held the position of supervising and training analyst. This role allowed him to guide and mentor aspiring psychoanalysts, shaping the next generation of professionals in the field.

Kavka's dedication to the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis extended beyond his analytical work. From the early 1990s to 2006, he served as the Institute's archivist, overseeing the preservation and organization of its historical records and documents.
