Bob Blue

Bob Blue was an American singer-songwriter who was active in the music field. Born in 1948, he spent his life creating music, with his work extending until his death in 2006. As a native of Huntington, New York, Blue's early life was rooted in the state, although he later became a resident of Massachusetts.

Blue's musical talents led to the creation of several songs, with one of his most notable works being "The Ballad of Erica Levine". This song gained recognition through performances by Mary Travers, a member of the renowned folk group Peter, Paul and Mary. Although Blue worked as a teacher, his songwriting skills left a lasting impact on the music scene, with "The Ballad of Erica Levine" remaining his most well-known composition.
